总结:Phytochemical studies of the methanol extract of Handroanthus chrysanthus flowers, collected in Thailand, led to the isolation of a new phenolic glycoside, parmentin C (1), along with seven known compounds (2–8). Among them, the phenolic glycoside compounds 1–5 were first isolated from the Handroanthus genus. The structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis and comparison of their NMR data to those reported in the literature. The anticancer activity of the isolated compounds against lung cancer (A549) and colon cancer (SW480) cells and α-glucosidase inhibition activity were evaluated. Results derived from in vitro experiments suggest the pharmacological potential of the isolated compound from Handroanthus chrysanthus flowers. © 2025 Phytochemical Society of Europe
