要約:Mobile applications have become a necessity in people's daily lives, and more are being developed at this time. To increase the efficiency in developing mobile apps, cross-platform mobile app development framework is needed. Currently there are various types of mobile app development frameworks with their respective approaches, be it native apps, mobile web apps, widget based, bridging with JavaScript, and others. For beginners, it is particularly important to choose a good and suitable platform to learn. In order to achieve this goal, this article presents a comparative analysis of five popular mobile development frameworks: Corona SDK (Solar2D), Ionic, Flutter, React Native, and Xamarin. The evaluation covers the advantages and disadvantages of each framework, highlighting key aspects such as development language, technology based, performance, community support, cross-platform capabilities, and learning curves. This study serves as a resource for developers to better understand and navigate the complexities of cross-platform. The goal is to provide developers with a clear understanding of the strengths and limitations of each framework to assist in making informed decisions for their mobile development projects. While recognizing the dynamic nature of technology, the analysis underscores the need for ongoing research and adaptation to leverage the most current tools and practices. Future comparison study should broaden the scope to include more diverse application cases and larger sample sizes to build on these initial insights. © 2024 IEEE.
