Employing focus group discussions as the data collection method, it involves 20 undergraduates of the Communication Through Drama course in Akademi Pengajian Bahasa, UiTM. The study is based on the Social Constructivist theory by Vygotsky (1962, 1978) and Project Zero's Visible Thinking approach identified by Ritchhart (2006). The findings demonstrate that implementing VT routines enhances students' interactive roles and communication skills. Despite the challenges, students embrace this more interactive and student-centred environment.
