Influence on Electrical Properties of Copper Doped Zinc Oxide and Polylactic Acid Composite Thin Films Using Immersion Method

The ZnO and Cu: ZnO powder were synthesized using immersion method, then ZnO/PLA an 0.5 at% Cu:ZnO/PLA composite thin films were prepared to create a triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). Sharp peaks in the Xray diffraction (XRD) study showed that the composite films had sharp crystallinity. The add...

要約:The ZnO and Cu: ZnO powder were synthesized using immersion method, then ZnO/PLA an 0.5 at% Cu:ZnO/PLA composite thin films were prepared to create a triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). Sharp peaks in the Xray diffraction (XRD) study showed that the composite films had sharp crystallinity. The addition of 0.5 at.% Cu doping markedly improved the electrical performance of the TENGs devices. Due to the enhanced carrier concentration brought about by Cu doping, the 0.5 at.% Cu:ZnO/PLA TENGs produced higher voltage outputs than the undoped ZnO/PLA TENGs. The experimental study on the capacitor charging characteristics were tested with capacitors of varying values (1 mu F, 4.7 mu F, and 10 mu F) connected to the rectified voltage output. These findings show Cu doping significantly the materials' potential for effective energy storage. This shows the significant gains in TENGs device performance and efficiency through optimization of Cu doping levels.
