Preparation and characterization of poly(ethylene carbonate)/poly(lactic acid) blends

Poly(ethylene carbonate)/poly(lactic acid) blends were successfully prepared by means of a solution film-casting method, and their physicochemical properties were investigated. PEC/PLA blends exhibit partial miscibility and are characterized by the interaction of the ester and carbonic ester groups....
