總結: | A confined laminar viscous flow past a two-dimensional bluff body in the presence of a strong uniform magnetic field is considered. The effects of Reynolds number (Re) and Hartmann number (Ha) on the dynamics of the wake are examined, with a focus on the shedding frequency and the distribution of the wake vortices. These two parameters are of primary interest as they play an important role in determining the mixing and heat transfer properties of the downstream flow. The results indicates that the imposed magnetic field significantly alters the dynamic behaviour of the wake behind a cylinder. |
