الملخص:This project, a Garbage Monitoring System with IoT, represents a highly innovative solution designed to maintain cleanliness in cities by preventing the overflow of unwanted garbage. Its primary objectives are to monitor the status of garbage bins and relay information regarding the level of collected waste through specialized sensors. The system employs Arduino as its microcontroller, aiming to create an intelligent monitoring infrastructure that addresses the core issue. Utilizing ultrasonic sensors strategically positioned above the bins, the system assesses the garbage level and compares it against the depth capacity of the bins. The key components include an Arduino UNO microcontroller, an LCD screen, LEDs, IoT technology, and a buzzer. When the garbage reaches its limit, all LEDs illuminate, the buzzer activates, the LCD displays the level, and an IoT notification is dispatched as a reminder to dispose of the waste. Moreover, this system enhances its functionality by providing continuous graphical representations of bin levels via IoT, contributing significantly to urban cleanliness efforts and preventing potential overflow. © 2024 IEEE.
