Summary: | Decreased functional capacity in post-coronary artery bypass surgery often leads to muscle atrophy and inactivity. Prolonged bed rest is the main contributor to the delay in recovery. This study aims to investigate the association between hemodynamic challenge during early mobilization and sociodemographic factors in post-cardiac surgery patients. The finding showed Gender, BMI, and EURO Score were associated with a hemodynamic challenge during early mobilization. In conclusion, the study suggests that early mobilization post-cardiac surgery is not only safe and improve patient outcome but also cost-effective and will indirectly reduce the cost of effectiveness for the institution and the Government. |
