Summary:This paper explores how the parole system can assist with the successful reintegration into society especially for parolees who often face limited job opportunities which hindering their reintegration. However, the parole system can be a platform for implementing effective strategies for change. Despite studies on employer perceptions, further research on successful workforce and societal reintegration is needed. Using scoping review methods, this paper identifies existing literature on Malaysia's parole system and successful reintegration strategies. This paper concludes that Malaysia's parole system implements unique strategies for effective reintegration.
