By measuring the Solar burst, it can be implemented. A spectrometer named CALLISTO (Compound Astronomical Low-cost Low-frequency Instrument for Spectroscopy and Transportable Observatory) is specifically designed for observing solar bursts. One of the most important aspects of the CALLISTO system is the use of the outdoor antenna, which is compatible with the system from 45Mhz to 875MHz. One of the good candidates is the Log Periodic Dipole Array antenna (LPDA). Since LPDA can produce high gain in broadband frequency range, this antenna is a popular choice for wireless applications. We have designed and simulated the proposed LPDA in CST software, which is a very well-known electromagnetic simulation software. According to the simulation, the proposed LPDA achieved the desired gain and directivity. As a result, the peak gain and directivity achieved were 9.12dBi and 10.8dBi, respectively.
