Besides at most of the case, the developing countries are more concerned with economic growth rather than emphasizing the quality of life. In Malaysia, the percentage of overloaded trucks can reach more than 60% of the total registered trucks. The overloaded trucks not only give the implication to economic but also to road safety, social and the environments. This paper reviews the impact of overloaded trucks in developing countries by systematic literature review techniques. © 2021 IEEE. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.
