Summary:Objective: This study examines Chinese Hainan Miao ethnic groups’ cultural, ecological, and social aspects to understand their significance, evolution, and challenges in a rapidly changing world. The study suggests ways to preserve Miao ethnic art, influenced by technology, globalization, culture, and the environment. Research Methodology: Qualitative methods included in-depth interviews, participant observations, and content analysis of historical and contemporary texts and artworks. The study selected 30 Miao crafters, cultural experts, and community members for diversity. Thematic analysis revealed patterns and narratives that show Miao ethnic evolution and culture preservation. Findings: Miao ethnic patterns and colors teach people about the environment and represent the community’s cultural values, blending tradition and innovation. Technology integration must be modern and authentic. Modern and traditional art and culture are affected by globalization. Recommendations: The study suggests Hainan Miao art-based cultural tourism and economic growth-cultural preservation balance. Policy, education, and artisan-cultural institution partnerships can preserve these traditional arts. Contributions: Education, sustainable development, cultural preservation, and heritage conservation technology are affected by this study. Research advances cultural hybridity theory, environmental aesthetics, digital anthropology, cultural sensitivity, material culture, and creative transmission. Conclusion: Miao culture preservation and globalization are discussed in the study. It examines Chinese Hainan Miao culture’s complex relationship between tradition and modernity and offers practical solutions for community empowerment and cultural sustainability. Global cultural dynamics research benefits from its theoretical insights and practical contributions in cultural preservation, community-building, and sustainable cultural tourism.
