Summary: | This paper proposes an IoT-based plant watering system innovation to revolutionise plant care. This study concentrates on advancements in automated IoT-based technology to address the need for an upgraded plant watering system. Previous research focused primarily on plant and water quality aspects, neglecting a comprehensive monitoring approach. Traditional manual watering schedules lacked real-time monitoring, presenting environmental challenges. The system provides a detailed display of soil conditions and humidity levels on an LCD using an Arduino UNO for soil moisture, humidity, and ultrasonic sensor. Additionally, water level data is accessible via the ESP8266 module via the Blynk application. The proposed innovations aim to significantly improve environmental sustainability, reduce risks, and improve plant condition monitoring efficiency. © 2024 IEEE. |
