STUDY ON THE IMMUNE RELATED MECHANISMS OF EXERCISE AND ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT IN INHIBITING TUMOR GROWTH IN C57BL/6 MICE
Three week old male wild-type C57BL/6 mice, T-cell and B-cell deficient mice, and NK cell killing function deficient mice were fed in the Enriched environment and the Standard environment for three weeks, respectively, to establish subcutaneous transplanted tumor modellings of pancreatic cancer and...

The results showed that in the wild type C57BL/6 mice, the growth of pancreatic cancer and lung cancer subcutaneous transplanted tumor was significantly inhibited by the English environment (P < 0.05), and the inhibition rates were 44.4 and 39.5%, respectively. In T and B lymphocyte deficient mice, Enriched environment also significantly inhibited tumor growth (P < 0.05), with inhibition rates of 40.5 and 36.8%, respectively. In NK cell deficient mice, Enriched environment had no significant effect on tumor growth (P > 0.05). The anti-tumor immunity mediated by NK cells rather than T and B cells plays an important role in enriched environment tumor suppression. © 2024, Scibulcom Ltd.. All rights reserved.
