The possible use of geopolymer technology in rigid pavement construction is thoroughly examined in this topic. To meet both engineering needs and environmental concerns, geopolymers provide a unique and ecologically friendly alternative to traditional cement-based materials. The chapter goes into great detail about the ingredients used in geopolymer formulations, such as fly ash, slag, and combinations of the two, highlighting their potential for usage for concrete pavement in addition to lowering waste generation and carbon emissions.
