Theoretical Framework: The research is grounded in art aesthetics and animation technology theories. Through case interviews and group discussions, the study examines how young designers understand and innovate traditional folk art, proposing strategies for the sustainable protection and preservation of digital cultural heritage. Method: Data were collected using group interviews, participant observation, and textual analysis. A deep analysis of folk art aesthetics and visual materials was conducted to understand the technologies and innovation pathways that may advance sustainability goals. Results and Discussion: Findings indicate that young animation designers are effectively revitalizing door god paintings of art through modern aesthetic innovations. Their deep understanding of the cultural and national significance of folk art enhances the impact of their work. These efforts represent a viable strategy for the sustainable preservation of traditional art forms. Research Implications: The collective creative process has increased young designers' enthusiasm for door god paintings and heightened their awareness of traditional culture, contributing to the sustainable development of folk art. Originality/Value: This study offers practical guidelines for young designers, providing sustainable strategies to use technology in preserving and advancing door god paintings of art in the digital age. © 2024, Editora Alumni In.
