Summary: | QR code payment has emerged as a digital payment method, simplifying day-to-day transactions for users. Various studies have delved into the adoption of QR code payments, examining factors influencing its acceptance. This research conducts a systematic literature review to consolidate insights on QR code payment adoption. A total of 25 articles were scrutinized from the Scopus database based on specified criteria. Results reveal a significant uptick in QR code payment usage in 2021 and 2022. Among the most cited works, Cheng and Huang's research stands out with 95 citations. Predominantly quantitative in nature, research employs Structural Equation Modeling, with PLS and Amos as prevalent analytical tools. TAM emerges as the most utilized theoretical framework. Key factors influencing adoption include behavioral intention, attitude, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, relationship quality, perceived value, and trust. This review provides a comprehensive overview of QR code payment adoption literature, offering insights into current trends and research methodologies. The findings serve as valuable guidance for future researchers, facilitating the integration of theories and models to address emerging issues in QR code payment adoption. © 2024 IEEE.
