However, given the current situation of managing farms, taking care of the livestock diet can be hard and time-consuming. The project aims to provide convenience to owners by helping them feed their rabbits smartly using the Arduino microcontroller and NodeMCU module. The system is activated through the signals received by Infrared (IR) sensors and operates the servo motor-controlled food dispenser. Owners will be notified to refill the food repository tank when the Ultrasonic sensor detects depletion through the smartphone notification. The mobile application sends notifications updating the level of the animal food inside the repository tank. Automated food distribution can be done independently by machines with enhancement in controlling features through the help of the Internet of Things (IoT). The viability of the food dispensing system and food level detection that is linked with IoT application is proven with the practical implementations in this research. © 2024 IEEE.
