With the help of the visual tool VOSviewer, this study analyses the core literature of digital clothing research in the Web of Science (WOS) database, sorting out the hot topics of digital clothing research, co-cited authors, countries/regions where the core literature is published, and research institutes, and based on the above analysis, proposes the future development trend of digital apparel and presents the full period of the research on digital apparel, All-round review. The visual knowledge map provides an objective basis for understanding a discipline's development and current status. In the WOS core data collection, "Digital"and "Clothing"were used as the search terms to search the literature, and the search time limit was up to 31 December 2023, and the visualisation tool VOSview was used to explore the literature. A visualisation tool, VOSviewer, was applied to analyse the included literature's network view and draw a time-series-based knowledge map, including the number of publications, country of publication, research institution, and keywords. The overall trend of literature volume is increasing year by year; research institutions are concentrated in major universities and research institutes; the hotspots of literature research are fashion design, behavior, model, performance, impact, digital, technology, fabric, digital printing The literature research hotspots are fashion design, behaviour, model, performance, impact, digital, technology, fabric, digital printing, sustainability, etc. © 2024 Owner/Author.
