Summary: | This project presents the development of a robot car remote control system using a smartphone interface. The motivation of this project is to provide an interactive and interesting platform for teaching and learning aimed at kids. To realize this project, a system that uses Bluetooth connectivity and a specially designed mobile application is developed. The key components of the project include the design and construction of a robot car platform equipped with motors, sensors, and an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The microcontroller interfaces with a Bluetooth module to establish a wireless connection with a companion smartphone app. The mobile application, developed for both Android and iOS platforms, offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the robot car's movements, including forward, backward, left, and right turns. The implementation involves programming the microcontroller to interpret commands received from the smartphone application and execute corresponding actions on the robot car. The application used is Bluetooth RC Car and the coding is based on the movement in the application. The designed robot car is tested in terms of distance for communications and the number of obstacles. © 2024 IEEE.
