Thus, both anthropoid conducts including the consumption of required energy are concerted in conurbation areas. Urbanization SDGs campaign has been initiated due to the urban dynamism which signifies the main sustainable developmental opportunity. The dedicated urban SDG and specific goal is crucial in mobilizing stakeholders, promoting integrated, city level strategies, and accelerate growth towards holistic sustainable urban development, including to almost eradicating extreme urban poverty. The article discusses all the UN-OWG indicators and factors of SDG 11 towards sustainable urban development in selected ASEAN nations of Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The aims in this research are to evaluate the implementation level using indicators and factors of ways in making cities function differently today’s economically challenged municipality administrations without expanding the additional costs. © 2023, Construction Research Institute of Malaysia.
