Data was collected from 307 international students studying in China through a questionnaire. The results showed that international students in China face challenges in academic and social adjustment, with different teaching styles and course content being a common difficulty. Despite these challenges, most students reported moderate satisfaction with their life and studies in China. The psychological well-being, cross-cultural adjustment difficulties, and life satisfaction of international students in China were found to be statistically interrelated. The study suggests that host universities should provide holistic support to address the interrelated needs of psychological well-being, cross-cultural adjustment, and life satisfaction. © 2023 IEEE.
