Summary:The COVID-19 pandemic forced educational institutions worldwide to swiftly transit to online teaching and learning modalities. While this transition enabled the continuity of education during lockdowns, it also presented numerous challenges for both teachers and students. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the problems encountered in the implementation of online teaching and learning during lockdown, highlighting the implications for educational stakeholders. The study aims to shed light on the multifaceted issues faced by students, teachers and parents. The study incorporated questionnaires and interviews as a method of gathering data. Based on the data gathered 7 themes were generated. © 2023 IEEE.
