Squeezed Light Generation Across Dual Octaves with Single-Mode Multichannel Waveguides

The generation of squeezed light across dual octaves with single-mode multichannel nonlinear waveguides exhibits dynamic behavior. In this study, we examine the impact of coherent state initialization, channel interaction, nonlinearity strength, and inter-channel interaction on the generation of squ...

The generation of squeezed light across dual octaves with single-mode multichannel nonlinear waveguides exhibits dynamic behavior. In this study, we examine the impact of coherent state initialization, channel interaction, nonlinearity strength, and inter-channel interaction on the generation of squeezed light over several channels. The findings demonstrate that the process of coherent state initialization and the addition of channel interaction significantly enhance the amount of squeezing, hence emphasizing their critical role in the optimization of squeezed light generation. Additionally, an occurrence of squeezing that is not dependent on nonlinearity is observed within a limited range of parameters. This presents opportunities for generating squeezed light in dual-octave systems with many channels. © 2023 IEEE.
