Description
Summary:This study extensively examines the primary causes of artificial intelligence's (AI) negative effects on education, with a specific focus on UiTM Seremban students. Questionnaire-based quantitative data collection techniques are utilized to gather information from 200 students in this study. The final criteria were determined by specialists and analysed using SPSS 27. The findings indicate that the negative effects of AI in this educational context include personal disconnection, a lack of customization, the dissemination of inaccurate information, privacy and security concerns, increased screen time, and excessive technological reliance. Notably, the identified negative impact with the highest mean score was 'privacy and security' Notably, this research is in its early stages and seeks to identify causal relationships using the DEMATEL method. © 2023 IEEE.
