Description
Summary:The COVID-19 pandemic that swept the globe has forced people to adapt their daily routines to new social norms. Changes to the way learning and teaching (TL) are done inside the educational system are also a part of it. A TL strategy gaining global popularity is open and distance learning (ODL). Therefore, this study aims to determine the efficiency of teaching math-related courses to electrical engineering degree students at School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia using the ODL approach. 147 students from second semester who studied the Signals and Systems course participated in the study. To gauge how they felt about the ODL course, a total of 16 questions were used. According to the study's findings, 69 percent of students are able to adjust to new learning norms. So it can be inferred that mathematics course via ODL is capable of being taught and practiced in academic institutions. © 2023 IEEE.
