Summary:An unusual case of an oral teratoma in a girl of 9 years of age is presented. The lesion appeared to originate from the hard palate involving the ridge of the tooth 53–21 and presented since five years ago. Radiographically, there is no bony involvement on the anterior region of the maxilla. Surgical excision of the tumour demonstrated epithelium, immature cartilage, adipose tissue, teeth, gastrointestinal epithelium, tissue resembling a developing tooth, smooth muscle, neural tissue, collection of acini-like tissues, and no immature cells seen.
