Covid-19 has significantly changed the world. New norms and new practices have been introduced to control the spread of this Coronavirus. Medical practitioners struggled from day one until today to formulate vaccine for Covid-19. Up-to date, Malaysia has experienced the third wave of the spread. Thus, many sectors have been affected including the education sector. Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Malaysia was affected too. During the pandemic outbreak, there were 255 students locked down in the campus. Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS) was employed as a tool to determine stress, anxiety and depression level. From the survey conducted, it was found that 70%, 55% and 60% of students experienced normal stress, anxiety and depression, respectively. Meanwhile for the extremely severe cases, the percentage for stress, anxiety and depression were 0.8%, 7.1% and 2.7%, respectively. In conclusion, DASS successfully provided insight information of students' condition during the lockdown. Further actions were taken accordingly by the Student Affair Department to help those students during the pandemic. © 2023 Author(s).
