Two xanthones (1-2) and two 4-phenyl-coumarins (3-4) were evaluated for their cytotoxic effect on the HeLa cells. Compound 1 showed active activity (IC-Abstract50 = 8.2 µM), and compounds 3-4 showed moderate activity (IC50 = 12.3 and 15.6 µM, respectively). © 2023, Korean Society of Pharmacognosy.
