College students are the builders and successors of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics, and they are the practitioners of cultural self-awareness, self-confidence and self-improvement. Their high degree of cultural self-confidence is of great practical significance to the inheritance and innovation of the excellent Chinese traditional culture and the enhancement of the national cultural soft power. Based on the technology of computer platform, this paper elaborates the scientific connotation and essence of cultural confidence, analyzes the current situation of college students’ cultural confidence and its influencing factors, and explores the path of cultivating college students’ cultural confidence. © 2023, ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering.
