Students left behind in learning need to use teaching aids to stimulate their cognitive improvement. Serious games are gaining attention among teachers especially during this pandemic season. However, not all serious games on the market suit this Halus student because they are designed without consulting an expert. Thus, this study is to develop a serious game model that applies brain-based learning (BBL) strategies to help improve the left and right brain abilities of Halus students. The model was developed using a Design and Development Research (DDR) methodology that focuses on model development and validation. Delphi techniques were used to validate the developed model. This validated model contains three main components, namely game, learning and BBL components. Delphi techniques were used to validate the developed model. This validated model contains three main components, namely game, learning and BBL components. © 2021 IEEE.
