The objectives of the study are to (1) to develop a comprehensive profile of Minangkabau tribes (suku) in Negeri Sembilan, (2) to investigate the types of the intangible cultural heritage of Negeri Sembilan traditions and (3) to design a novel virtual reality model representing a sense of facial expression, sound processing, and motions' capture. The highlights of this article include: (a) the problem statement and gaps of the literature components, (b) the inclusion criteria in the proposing methods used for the research design and (c) discussions for future works relative to UX and UI. © 2021 IEEE.
