Summary:Conventionally, the detection and notification of the fire accident are based on the siren triggered by the fire alarm system. However, this system needs human interaction to call the fire department to inform the fire location. Therefore, an intelligent fire alarm system is highly in demand. The intelligent fire alarm system is a solution that can notify the area and the time that occurred to the fire station and the owner automatically without any human intervention. This product is generated by using an intelligent sensor system, GPS, and the choice algorithm to identify and notify effectively. The IoT system is integrated with the intelligent fire alarm system to ensure the owner and the fire station could monitor the air quality of the premises. This product can be used by commercial and domestic buildings to ensure the safety and smart cities can be realized. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
