Description
Summary:The purpose of the study is to examine the idea of energy harvesting by using a piezoelectric operation to be applied in the self-automation gate control using Arduino Uno microcontroller. The idea of this study is to demonstrate the application of energy harvesting from the wasted energy usage and applying the energy conversion for the new energy supply. The generated energy is supplied to the Arduino Uno as microcontroller to act as a brain for the system and to control the motor. The motor will then receive an instruction from the sensor and Arduino Uno to assist the automation gate movement. At a certain condition, the gate was set to close and open from the information sensed by the ultrasonic sensor through wave. The result shows the plates of piezoelectric can generate a maximum of 2V DC supply. The study will be focused on the hardware application, the system software and the observation of the system simulation. © 2021 IEEE.
