In terms of total salaries wages paid in services sector for the year 2017, Transportation storage with RM16.2 billion or 10.7 per cent was the third highest, behind the Wholesale retail trade and Finance). This somehow has indicated the increase of interest and job marketability within the Transportation storage subsector in that particular year. Among the most challenging jobs in transportation is driving the heavy good vehicles (HGV) where the objectives of their functions are to ensure goods being delivered safely as well as ensuring the safety of the community throughout the driving assignment. This study analyzed the perception of the HGV drivers in Malaysia towards their own driving behaviors that might have been aggressive and can cause accidents using factor analysis. Factors that are perceived to be aggressive and ordinary while driving are proposed and analysed based on drivers' own views, and further being related to the number of accidents they are involved in throughout their driving tasks.
