Description
Summary:This study aimed to obtain a thoughtful understanding of contemporary zakat from young adults in Indonesia. This study also tried to solve the problems of zakat collection in Indonesia by using digital technology. This study used quantitative analysis through questionnaire for 113 Muslim young adults in Indonesia. The results proved that digitization in form of digital platform can increase the trust of society toward zakat management organization. In addition, it increased zakat donation through digital transaction. The results also indicated that digital platform can be the medium to increase social financial literacy and inclusion; it is because Muslim young adults have the understanding of contemporary zakat, and they know about the digital platform of zakat management organization.
