Description
Summary:Soft system methodology (SSM) is an approach uses to solve problems that involved “soft” elements to tackle conflicts among stakeholders. Soft system methodology applies qualitative technique and uses system thinking to non-systematic situations. The main objective of this study is to frame soft system methodology in a community IT-Based Project. A case study was selected on the Asnaf group at a local residential area in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. As a result, a prototype website is proposed to manage their resources and funds systematically. The proposed application of SSM in the case study with the prototype technology prescribed may guide the system developer of the authority as guidance for the actual development and implementation of the system as future work. © 2020 SERSC.
