Industrial training is very important for undergraduate students to provide an opportunity for the students to experience real working environments first hand, while at the same time, benefit them in terms of their personal and professional development. In addition, most of the employers use this period as a chance to assess potential employees for future employment. Therefore, it would be highly beneficial for students to capitalize on this opportunity to stand out professionally. Additionally, feedback gathered from the participating organizations would help the students as well as the higher learning institutions in improving the character and professional skills of the graduates. Therefore, this paper presents the several enhancements on the implementation of industrial training processes and procedures as a proposed guideline for academic institutions to improve their industrial training processes and procedures. © 2017 IEEE.
