Summary: | People with Disability (PWD) are a growing group among travel, tourism and leisure oriented consumers. Despite all challenges, what made PWD continue to travel, especially those with mobility impairment? This study was conducted to understand the factors that motivate leisure-traveling activities among people with mobility impairment. Collecting data via qualitative approach, eight informants with mobility impairment were interviewed. Researcher identified twelve (12) motives that influenced a person with mobility impairment travelling intention. It was learned that pull factors of accessibility and information give greater impact towards people with mobility impairment’s traveling decision. This study was hoped to be able to benefits tourism industry in terms of promotional, development and sustainability; resulting to more active participation of PWD in travel and tourism activities. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers.
