The Doctorate Support Group (DSG) Webinars, which began in early 2015, is one of the flagship programs introduced under the DSG initiatives in order to promote the postgraduate resources portal to its 52,000 members on Facebook. The DSG Webinars utilizes numerous technological applications to stream the webinars to its viewers. This paper elaborates on the applications utilized to organize the DSG Webinars and their potential in promoting lifelong learning. Different technological applications were used throughout the entire process, from initiating the webinar registration, to the streaming of the live webinar, the discussion of the lessons, and the hosting of the webinar replay on the DSG resource page. The hosted webinar replays offer a continuous learning experience for DSG members and other visitors. It is intended that this paper could serve as a reference for similar initiatives by other support groups and spur greater interest for further research on the potential of using technological applications for lifelong learning. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers.
