Phytochemical investigation has been carried out on the stem bark of Shorea bracteolate. Three known oligomeric stilbene compounds, namely vaticanol A (1), stepnophyllol C (2) and hopeaphenol A (3) were isolated from the acetone extract of the plant. The structure of the isolated compounds were determined based on the analysis of spectroscopic data, including Nucleus Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Ultra Violet (UV), Infrared (IR) and comparison with literature. © 2016, Malaysian Society of Analytical Sciences.
