Description
Summary:Orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) become one of the modulation technique that significant to enhance wireless system performance. But in typical urban environment, data rate performance degrading due to the Inter symbol interference (ISI). Multipath propagation is one of the reasons that can cause ISI during transmission. In order to reduce ISI, combination of Least Mean Square (LMS) and Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) with Decision Feedback Equalizer (DFE) is used in this research. Besides that, space time frequency block code (STFBC) with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna proved their effectiveness to remove ISI. The objective of this paper is also to evaluate Pairwise Error Probability (PEP) performance using combination of adaptive algorithm and DFE. The PEP simulation results show the improvement of PEP performance after reducing ISI. © 2016 Author(s).
