Ionic liquid polymer electrolyte based on Bis (fluorosulfonyl) amide for sodium secondary batteries

A new ionic liquid polymer electrolyte (ILPE) has been prepared for sodium secondary batteries. The ILPE is prepared by using a cast technique in which poly(vinyl chloride) used as a host polymer. The ILPE shows an ionic conductivity of 5.6 mS cm-1 at 318 K with 50 wt% of bis(fluorosulfonyl)amide io...

Description
Summary:A new ionic liquid polymer electrolyte (ILPE) has been prepared for sodium secondary batteries. The ILPE is prepared by using a cast technique in which poly(vinyl chloride) used as a host polymer. The ILPE shows an ionic conductivity of 5.6 mS cm-1 at 318 K with 50 wt% of bis(fluorosulfonyl)amide ionic liquid. The stability of the ILPE reached 473 K based on 5 wt% loss. Sodium metal electrodeposition/dissolution was observed at the cathodic limit of the electrochemical window.
