Summary:This invited paper discusses the implementation of tunable bandpass filters for millimeter frequency range. Several aspects will be addressed: the development of original filter topologies for which we develop synthesis for both the filter itself and tunable filter incorporating the tuning element in the synthesis. We will discuss the technology implementation to improve performances nominal filter but also to ensure the tunability using either classical techniques such as MEMs or technologies in technological breakthrough such as plasma or microfluidic techniques. © 2014 IEEE.
