Furthermore, the capability of each strain gauge to detect the displacement changes in diameter of Dendrobium orchid stem also investigated. This investigation was important in order to choose the best size of strain gauge for measurement a group of Dendrobium orchid stem to study plant water status for future watering scheduling system development.. © 2012 The Authors.
