Summary: | Malaysian Research and Education Network (MyREN) is introduced to interconnect educational and research institutions in Malaysia. With its highspeed broadband network, researchers would be able to carry out their research projects that involve data-intensive applications as well as sharing resources across the network. Furthermore, the network is more economical compared to other commercial networks that will not guarantee for higher performance network. This paper presents a deployment of a local web server that is linked to MyREN. The server would be able to cater any applications such as bioinformatics and industrial databases that can be shared among MyREN's members. © 2009 IEEE. |
